JOB: The Hip-Hop Musical

Set to a hip-hop beat, JOB: The Hip-Hop Musical is 60 minutes of nonstop energy and talent, as Canadians Jerome Saibil and Eli Batalion play a variety of characters in an ultramodern retelling of the biblical tale of Job. Job Lowe (sound the name out for yourself) seems to have it all in his position as the loyal employee of Hoover Records president Jonathan Hoover. But when vice president of finance Louis Saphire (whose name when rapped sounds like "Lucifer") hatches a plan to test Job's loyalty, things go horribly awry. Saibil and Batalion never fumble once as they weave their story through incredibly clever rap and simplistic but highly effective movement. In fact, this duo is so talented that, just for the hell of it, they trade off characters in midstream, never missing a beat.
